What is formaldehyde-free straightening and its maintenance?

There are several types of hair straightening.
The most common are Brazilian and Japanese straightening.
Both techniques use powerful chemicals to achieve flawless straightening.
However, many of these products contain toxic substances.
Our products are based on exclusively natural ingredients, thus avoiding any side effects.
So, if you want to have straightened hair, choose the right products and technique.
Formaldehyde, from its original name formaldehyde, is also known as methanal or formaldehyde.
This product is still too present in our daily lives without us knowing it.
Originally used as a hide preservative, for embalming mummies, as a food preservative, as a fixative, it is also found in food products, cleaning products, DIY products, dental products, nail varnishes, cigarettes, hair products, etc.
Unfortunately, the list is very long for a carcinogenic product classified in category 1 for its danger to humans and nature.
Once we know what formalin is, what does it do in Brazilian straightening? Formalin will coat the hair and waterproof it.
Waterproofing the hair fiber will make the hair look healthy.
However, in reality, waterproofed hair is hair that stops being hydrated and ends up breaking like glass. In addition to the fact that during application, the hairdresser and the client are exposed to the risks and harmful effects of formalin (by inhalation, nasopharyngeal cancer and through the skin, other types of cancer), formalin also poses a real danger to the environment. Since formalin is strictly prohibited in hair products, it is replaced by its cousin glyoxylic acid (which, by the way, is much less effective, because it dries out sensitized hair and does not adhere very well to resistant hair), which is therefore equally harmful to health.

Unfortunately, some unscrupulous Brazilian straightening manufacturers still add formaldehyde to the composition of their straighteners to make the result look prettier on the hair, but at the risk of customers' health.
To find out if the straightener contains formalin, simply blow air from the bottle into your eye.
If you feel it stinging and burning, there is a 99% chance that this straightener contains formalin.

Using Vegan Evox straightening is a guarantee of quality for health and for the straightening result.
